Welcome to U Can Too, where we bring coding and making together in your school with creative, engaging and unique curriculum-linked code and make workshops and CPD for all ages!

What We Do

Here at U Can Too, we are all about widening the technical skills set of young people. We have developed a range of creative tech workshops that make teaching and learning the computing curriculum fun and engaging for all.

From learning how to code a moving robot to programming software that can collect meaningful data, our computing workshops demonstrate the endless possibilities of using technology to create, design, measure and problem solve.

U Can Too Tech Workshops can be delivered in the classroom, at events, online or as part of teacher CPD. There are workshops for all levels - beginners, intermediate and advanced. Each has been designed to meet all ages, abilities, and preferred learning outcomes. Most importantly they always remain fun and enjoyable!

Through the creative and exciting outcomes achieved during our workshops, learners develop confidence and a heightened interest in computing and STEM while learning about the broader applications for computing, including links to art, design technology, health monitoring, environmental monitoring, movement and more.

Our team recently had the opportunity to participate in a practical workshop that introduced us to the world of do-it-yourself (DIY) technology in a user-friendly manner. During this engaging session, we delved into fascinating topics like making objects light up and generating sounds with the help of sensors, all without the need for technical jargon or complex equipment.

This hands-on experience has not only broadened our horizons but also kindled our enthusiasm for technology in a way that is accessible and relevant to our mission. This training session was led by Su Adams Founder of U Can Too and Computing Curriculum Specialist. Nicki from U Can Too came in to run a workshop with selected Year 8 students. From the moment she arrived and worked with the students, they were engaged. She had a lovely way with the students and was very informative throughout. Her excitement and passion was clear and this transferred to the students.
